We, the members of the Yarmouth Police Department,
believe that a joint
effort with an empowered community will
allow us to make decisions reflecting
the cultural diversity of the
community with respect for the dignity and rights
of all
individuals.
We are committed to the prevention and suppression of criminal
activity through improved identification, apprehension and
prosecution of offenders and the elimination or reduction of
opportunities to commit crime.
We
will aid our community and governmental agencies in the planning and
management of ongoing community service activities and special
events.
We recognize that the Department's employees are its greatest asset

assume a responsibility to treat them professionally and support
